Watching all those kung-fu and action movies really make me want to learn these techniques myself. But this year marks something different for me. I am finally
starting to take action in what I want, and around a month ago I enrolled in my first taekwondo class. It may be a for beginners program, but for me it is significant because I am taking action for the first time. I even went further than that after I recently bought some martial arts equipment which is currently set up in my spare garage and it helps inspire me to work my ass of since I
already have these equipment and it would be a waste to not use them after I had already bought them. In a way, buying the martial arts equipment was a good thing as it motivates me since I spent quite a lot of money in them which I would be paying through my credit card for a long while. I plan on taking Karate and Muay Thai classes too eventually once I am done with Taekwondo. Currently I use sparring gear from this company http://www.taekwondosupplies.org/category/tkd-foam-sparring-gear/. It works great for regular tournaments.

I don’t really plan to become a master in all of them, but I would certainly like knowledge enough to be able to practice them, so I can mix them all in the future since it is my goal to enter an MMA tournament (MMM is Mixed Martial Arts) and it is the predominant and popular form of martial arts tournament these days.  My dream might be a big one, but it is something achievable I know through hard work and patience. And since I have a good start at the moment, I plan to use this momentum to really learn all I can in the next few years. By that time, I will be ready to join these MMA tournaments and maybe try to win a few games myself.
